Ensuring No Child Goes Hungry is our Mission
Kindness for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to operating a food pantry distribution center in Nevada. Our primary purpose is to ensure that no child in our state goes hungry. We work tirelessly to collect, store, and distribute nutritious food to families in need, with a special focus on supporting children and their access to essential nourishment. When a child doesn't have adequate food in their household, they may experience malnutrition, fatigue and weakness, delayed development, anxiety and stress, low self-esteem, difficulty concentrating, social withdrawal, behavioral problems, difficult forming relationships, poor academic performance, increased risk of chronic diseases and mental health issues. It is essential to address childhood hunger and food insecurity to prevent these short-term and long-term consequences. Kindness for Kids is providing the hope they need.
